For regular sessions we require at least 1-2 weeks notice for midweek appointments and 3-4 weeks for weekend slots.
With newborn session, please, keep in mind this session may take up to three hours, so it's good to bring some snacks and water along. And also, if you decided to bottle feed your little one, please bring a couple of bottles of milk made up to the session. Your baby will be moved around different props and set ups, changed and wrapped quite a few times, so may have more than one hungry moment and it's best to be well prepared to keep our little model happy and concent!
Also, with an older sibling joining the session, it's always a good idea to have some drinks and snacks ready for them if they get a little tired.
You don't have to worry about props or outfits, as these are always provided, you can however, bring extra items to your session especially if they're of particular value to you and your family. Things such as: handmade blankets, special nursery decoration, items involved in your hobbies and interests (we had babies photographed with guitars, motorcycle helmets, soldier gear) etc as these make for a fantastic set up and a wonderful keepsake!
When preparing to your bump session, please make sure you wear something comfortable paing particular attention to your underwear, which shouldn't be too dark to match our maternity gowns and wraps at the studio. Also, make sure there are no tight straps that could leave marks on your skin, as these take a while to fade away. There will be various dresses available at the studio but you are also welcome to bring extra outfits to your session and get changed in the privacy of our spare rooms at the back of the studio. You can also bring items you have prepared for your baby's arrival, like tiny booties, teddies, nursery decorations etc, anything you'd like captured in the photographs for your family to remember for years to come.
Family & Children
When preparing to your family session, please make sure to wear comfortable outfits but try to avoid big logos or contrasting and dazzling colours. You are welcome to bring extra outfits to your session and get changed in the privacy of our spare rooms at the back of the studio.
We will provide outfits and decorations for the session, but you are more than welcome to bring any of your own that you'd like captured in the photos. The first stage is made out of family and single portraits and you are also welcome to join in and have photographs taken with your little one.
For the second stage (Cake Smash) please note, that due to possible allergies and various taste preferences we do not provide the cake for the session, so when choosing your cake, please make sure it's soft and covered with buttercream rather than hard icing (this doesn't smash that well). Sponge cakes tend to work best!
We can certainly recommend a cake maker to you, who specialises in preparing not only lovely (and perfect for the shoot) cakes, but also accommodates specific needs, such as gluten/dairy/nut free, vegan cakes etc. The company can be contacted here:
For the bubble bath stage we will have everything prepared including organic bubble solution, but if your little one uses anything specific for sensitive skin, please feel free to bring your own bottle of liquid, just to stay on the safe side!
And for the final stage (towel snuggles) please bring in your own towel, preferably a hooded one if possible.
For suh occasion we have especially prepared hand crafted gift vouchers. For more information and examples of our beautiful vouchers, please follow the link below:
