Newborn session with Charlie 14 days

Look at this handsome little man! Look at all that hair!

He came to the session exactly on his due day, such a special day to remember. We started the session with him with huge open eyes but you can see that Charlie quickly went to sleep and let me work with the nice sleepy poses. His parents just couldn't decide which pictures they liked more so they bought them all - beautiful memories which they can keep forever.

Adorable little princess

What a beautiful family! They came to our studio in Sunderland for a newborn session after hearing about us from a friend.

Their little girl was only 10 days old on these photos, she slept and posed absolutely beautifully, isn’t she just so cute?

Rayna 7 days old

This was such a fun and amazing session! Rayna who's only 7 days, and her older brother Riley, who's 7, both came to our studio for a session. The bond between this family was just so special. And just look at the top collage photo of Rayna and Riley laughing, isn't that just the sweetest thing!

Rayna like I mentioned before, was only 7 days old on these photos! That's such a perfect time for a newborn shoot. As you can see by the photos, this meant Rayna slept so peacefully, meaning the photos turned out just beautiful

And Riley was also so amazing on the session! He was really caring of his little sister, and always smiling! Such a sweet boy, and he also posed just great!

If you're thinking about booking a newborn session with us, please do it asap while you are still pregnant. This will guarantee an available slot for when your little one is finally here!

Olivia 13 days old

This was a special session for me, as Olivia and her family came all the way from Richmond to our studio in Sunderland to have a newborn shoot. It's so sweet how clients are willing to take a longer journey just to have their photos taken with us!

Olivia was 13 on the day of her session, which is a perfect time to photograph a newborn. She slept just beautifully and as you can see, she posed beautifully too! Her older brother also decided to join in the photo, which I always encourage, as this is such a special family moment to capture (siblings and parents joining is free of cost)

If you are thinking about a newborn session, the time that Olivia came is just perfect, so make sure to book asap when you are still pregnant, to guarantee a slot for when your little one is finally here

Our sweetest preemie - Jensen

This gorgeous boy was born prematurely, so when he came to us for a newborn session he was already 7 weeks and 4 days... However you can see how he posed just like a few day old baby! His name is Jensen and he came to us from Hartlepool; his parents decided that the journey to Sunderland would be worth the beautiful photos. I hope they will be pleased with the outcome! What do you think?

Bump 2 Baby with Newborn Story Photography

Ahh wish I could always have sessions like these two! The parents entered the studio and it felt as if two old friends popped over for a chat! So relaxed and fun. The camera loved them endlessly and their little man was just perfect to pose!

Just take a look at him and all these gorgeous face expressions! Best thing was I had him all to myself during his newborn session and his parents could rest for a little bit enjoying their company in comfy chairs.

Newborn triplets at Newborn Story Photography in Sunderland

These three perfect little models were exactly 40 days new on their newborn session. Meet Poppy Olivia, born at 7:25am weighing 3lbs 7oz, Tommy George born at 7:25am weighing 3lbs 9oz & Billy Joe born at 7:26am weighing 3lbs 3oz.

They made their way earthside on the 17th January, blessing their parents with the most generous addition to their family of three! They could have not been more perfect! And take a look at their proud big brother there too!

A big thank you to Tina Stobbs, an incredibly talented photographer behind the Captured Forever Photography, who came to assist during this shoot and whose support was absolutely invaluable!

I would also like to thank my most favourite prop makers Lou Lou Boutique, Blue Moon Photo Props & Unique Backdrops by Gosia Plichta, for preparing many lovely props for this session!

Jessica’s baby boy

This little man was 5 weeks premature, and he was exactly 5 weeks new when he visited our studio for his newborn session. He had a little bit of a rough time coming to this beautiful earth and his lovely mamma shared his birth story with us:

“I had to go to the hospital on 27th December as I was feeling very unwell but after a few hours was sent home as they put it down to a viral infection. I then started to get much worse and started seeing flashing lights with blurred vision so then got rushed to hospital where my blood pressure was sky high, they kept an eye on me and did some tests and they said I have pre-eclampsia and help syndrome as my liver function was very high. The consultant said they needed to induce me as soon as possible to get the baby out as my liver functions and blood pressure wasn’t improving. I felt so scared in case anything happened to my baby in the process, but I also felt excited that I was a step closer to meeting my baby boy. They had to give me an epidural and the meds to start me off with labour. After 2 hours of pain and 9 minutes of pushing my baby boy made an appearance on 2nd Jan at 1.28pm. He was handed straight to me and I just started crying full of emotion and love, it was the best feeling in the world becoming a mother and meeting my baby for the first time.”

Being premature her little boy had to spend a week in the neonatal gaining weight and getting ready to go home with his parents.

“It broke my heart seeing him in there but I knew he was in the right place, I visited him every day and helped feed him. We could only hold him once a day for an hour or so. The nurses were amazing looking after him and were so supportive. After a week of being in the neonatal he was finally allowed to come home. As crazy as it sounds I was excited for the sleepless nights and bonding with my baby. I couldn’t imagine life without him and he is the best thing to ever happen to me”.
